The public transport companies of Berlin are called BVG and S-Bahn GmbH. They will take you quickly everywhere you need to go by underground, bus, train or ferry. Berlin is divided into three tariff zones: AB, BC und ABC. Tariff zone AB includes the urban area until the city boundary. Zone ABC involves also Berlin’s surrounding area and the city of Potsdam. Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended to clear all travel and medical insurance issues prior to coming to Berlin. Neither the Professional Conference Organiser nor the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant of the Conference failing to insure.
International delegates arriving from outside the European Union may need a visa. Please make sure that you ask for a visa permit in time. If you need an invitation letter please contact the Professional Conference Organiser.
Please take note that the currency used in Germany is the Euro (€). Standard credit cards (such as Visa and Master card) will be accepted in most places.
